ahli Bank opened its first branch in Palestine in the city of Nablus in 1957. Due to the political circumstances in the region at that time, the branch was closed until 1995, to reopen Nablus branch in a new look and Al-Shallaleh Office in Hebron, in addition to the opening of Ramallah branch in 1996.
ahli bank continued to expand in the West Bank to open branches in Bethlehem and Hebron. The last five years were decisive in the history of the bank in Palestine, as the bank’s operational and financial indicators grew, increasing its market share in the Palestinian market, and increasing the number of its branches from 4 to 9, as 5 branches were opened in new cities, by adding each of the branches in Beit Sahour, Jenin, Tulkarm, Al-Masyoun, and Beitunia.
In light of the wise vision of the bank’s General Management, and within the management’s endeavors to work according to deliberate steps aimed at advancing the bank in Palestine, the banks’ team in Palestine, led by its Regional Management, seeks to be a pioneer in the field of electronic services, thus enhancing its presence and identity in the Palestinian banking sector, by supporting its commitment to effective policies and procedures, based on the best experiences and competencies to create a sound work environment, a distinctively qualified job cadre, and control of the internal environment, to fulfill the desired development and expansion process, aspiring to achieve the Board of Directors’ strategic goals.
